Blank Apple Car Play Screen

I have had my Karoq just over a week now. When I was shown the Apple Car Play function in the showroom when I was picking up my car the Car Play menu screen appeared as it should.
It is now just a blank screen. I can hear music from my iTunes & also hear directions from Google Maps when directed using my phone in car, so it is connected. I have tried reconnecting Bluetooth, without success.
The thing is, I use Google Maps quite a lot & the in car navigation system is beyond me
Any advice would be gratefully accepted
