Bluetooth module location.

Could anybody please tell me where the Bluetooth module is located in a 2019 1.6 TDI DSG? Many thanks in advance.

Not sure about the physical location of the receiver/sender... but might be under the driver's seat.

The manual just tells you to find the bluetooth device via the Menu/Settings/Manage mobile devices/settings/Device Name and then to switch the function on via the Menu/Settings/Manage Mobile Device/Bluetooth. The visibility of the device is then shown in Menu/Settings/Manage Mobile Device/Settings/Visibility.

It also warns that the phone needs to have its Bluetooth function enabled, and not all phones are compatible.

I must say that my phone connects automatically even when it's in the boot, so range shouldn't be a problem. But I seldom receive or make calls in the car, and don't try to play music via Bluetooth as I use a USB-C flash drive instead.
