Eco mode to sport mode

Husband has set our Karoq 1.5 DSG Edition to Eco mode but he found by accident the other day something which may be of interest to someone.
If you are in Eco mode and want to accelerate quicker you push/pull the automatic gear stick backwards ie towards rear seats slightly and it switches to sport mode then once you have accelerated you do the same and it switches back to eco mode. Not sure if this switching also works from Normal to Sports.
