Hello everyone!

I hope you had a great week.

After a bad experience with Mazda 6, 2.2 Diesel, I decided to buy a Skoda Petrol 1.4, 1.5, 2.0 as I'm driving most in the city or short trips.

Do you have any recommendations?

I don't know anything about these engine's...

Thank you for any help!

Raul

I switched from diesel back to petrol when my annual mileage fell, as it avoids problems with particulate filters and AdBlue.

You get less mpg of course, and less torque (compared with a turbo diesel) but I switched from a 1.6TD to a 1.4 TSI petrol quite happily. The 1.5TSI petrol is an updated 1.4 TSI, and had some recalls to cure a 'kangarooing' problem. I bought my current 2.0TSI to get the 4x4 system and love it. The fuel consumption is higher (around 35 mpg on average, or 40+ on long trips,) but with my current 8,000 miles per year I find it worth the performance kick.

But if you want a Superb, are you really asking the right people?
