Hi.
I have a Skoda koroq 2021 SE L model with the keyless entry. I had a warning battery low. I took it in to a shop to have it changed which I did. Great red lights flashing. Go back to the car to find it won't unlock...again lights flashing on the fob but doesn't open. Do the over ride to get on. Alarm goes off but the fob must work as when I got in I could push the start button off it goes. Partner has followed the instructions in the manual on how to recode the key to the car but still no success. (Only got the car yesterday)
Anyone else had this problem and how did they get over it?
Thanks
Battery changed in key on koroq 2021 but car won't unlock flashing flight on fob
Well, for a start, if you bought from a trader, then I'd take it back and get them to fix it!Only got the car yesterday
If that's not possible, then if you look through this and the https://www.briskoda.net/forums/forum/364-skoda-karoq/ forums, you'll see quite a few reports of some makes of battery giving problems.
Personally I've changed batteries on both my fobs now (2021 Karoq SeL) and had no problems (apart from opening up the fob!). In general it seems that Panasonic batteries seem to work ok.
I bought mine (pack of 6) from here https://www.amazon.co.uk/s?me=A3OINMB4I ... 3G8C2ARO7P
