The start/stop button on our 2018 Karoq has gradually deteriorated, it seems more difficult to start the engine even though the Push button operates perfectly freely.
Replacement units vary in price from around £50 from Skoda to £10 on eBay (Chinese supplier).
Time to look to YouTube.
Short video clips show it’s a relatively easy fix.
So, I remove the Start/Stop button, opened it up on the kitchen table, lightly cleaned the 4 contacts, reassembled & tested it.
👍 it worked a treat, now starts & stops with little pressure just like new.
