Hesitation or flat spot on take off

Hi people,
Just bought a six month old karoq with 6000 miles on it.
Car is great but has this real bad hesitation as you pull away.
Looking at the the topics I'm aware that the 1.5 engine has a hesitation but this is a 1 litre.
It seems as soon as a load is put on the engine it just falters.
It's most annoying in traffic.
Took it back to the main dealer where I got it from and they say it's normal !!!
I would be interested if anyone else has this problem ?

Manual or DSG?

Hi Tom it's a manual.
Spoke to Skoda UK yesterday.
Got to take it to my local main dealer in stockport first and let them test it.
If they fob me off I'll be demanding that a Skoda UK rep comes out to try it.
It's a real pain.
