Our First Skoda

Just picked up a used Skoda Karoq from a Skoda dealer. It's registered in my wife's name and replaces an 11 year old Saab 9-3 which we've owned since nearly new (35 miles on clock) and was the last of 5 Saabs we'd had - and loved.

The Karoq was nearly new too with 197 miles on the clock. Only done about another 100 miles so far and we're reasonably impressed. 2 litre petrol with auto box seems to perform nicely and ride is fairly smooth although more tyre noise than expected but that may settle as tyres wear in.

Still trying to get to grips with the MySkoda app which has the potential to be excellent but we suspect is really an excuse to charge a subscription in due course. The ability to download routes to the SatNav in advance could be really useful - just about to try it for the first time.
