door handle creaking?
I want to buy a new Karoq after being impressed by the car on a test drive I did last week. The engine was exceptional (1,5 petrol ) , the car was really quiet , the overall quallity was pretty good , suspension was comfortable but when I opened or closed the drivers door there was a creaking sound coming from the door handle that really put me on thoughts .The specific car was brand new , it was only driven for about 100 klm. Then I checked on Kodiak forums and it seems that some Kodiaq owners had an issue like that. Can any Karoq owners inform me if there is such an issue with Karoq's door handles ?

Hello picked up my new Karoq Edition 1.5 DSG 2 weeks ago with 9 miles on clock now done 450. No issues at all with door handles creaking or anything else. Only small issue passenger door sometimes requires a hard thud to shut properly but will see how it goes.
So far great drives like a Rolls Royce, only slight disappointment is fuel consumption only averaged 35mpg so far and driving it like a saint running it in (driving in ECO mode), should be getting 50+ combined according to official specification. If your not worried about economy go ahead lovely car to drive. Suns out now so chance to roll out the roof ! and catch some rays.

Had our car since 1st Feb now over 1000 miles on the clock mostly shorter journeys so doors been opened and shut many times no squeaking from any of them.
We also find like Grillygraham that the doors need a bit more of a slam than our old vehicle but getting used to it and probably the door is easing up with use
Hope this helps

Now had my 1.5 Edition for about 4 weeks and put on over 1,000 miles. No creaks from the door handles, in fact I am really impressed by how quiet the car is even with the 19" wheels.
Average fuel consumption is 45 mpg, mainly motorway driving including 600 mile round trip to South Coast during which I found the seats to be really comfortable.
