Good morning
My wife and I have just placed an order for a Karoq 1.5TSI DSG Edition in business grey. The only extras are Adaptive Cruise Control, Spare Wheel and jack and a boot liner. We researched the different models and decided that the edition gave us what we already enjoy in our existing cars. 12 weeks is the estimated delivery timescale so we have a slight wait (May) before we get to enjoy the car. Although it hasn’t deterred us, someone mentioned the potential unreliability of the DSG gearbox. Not sure if this is something to be aware of in the future but I have confidence in Skoda products so hope this is just misinformation.
Very helpful forum and looking forward to reading members comments and making relevant contributions myself.

Welcome to the forum!

My wife & I between us have had 4 Skodas (soon to be 5 - her new car arrives in 2 weeks), and the only problem we've encountered is one faulty sensor. We've always had manuals so can't comment on DSG gearboxes, but I can't fault Skoda reliability.

Welcome Sandys,
You will be joining an enthusiastic bunch here. Draig is coming up for 5, I am on my 7th. One often gets bitten by the Skoda bug.
