Apologies if the pros and cons of these two additions have been thoroughly discussed. One salesman has said don't waste your money - you won't notice the difference; another chap said it was a 'must have' Any thoughts /experience would be appreciated .
Ditto on the Canton system. Thanks
Dynamic chassis control & Canton Sound
I listened to a Canton system in the showroom and then tried the standard system in another car. I'm blowed if I could hear any difference. Add in the background noise of a moving car and I suspect the only benefit of the Canton system is bragging rights. In the end, you pays your money and makes your choice.
Have fun,
Ian.

I'm with Ian on the Canton. Can't comment on the dynamic chassis I'm afraid.
My Kodiaq came with the Canton system (Luckily I didn't pay for it!!) Both my Karoqs have the ordinary system. I like classical music and Trad Jazz. and I cannot tell the difference. Save your money and put it towards something useful like Adaptive Cruise Control. Keeps you at a pre-chosen distance from the car in front and matches their speed* thereby keeping distance. *regardless of what speed you have set your cruise control at.
Once the car in front pulls away or pulls off, your car resumes the speed set. I wish I had it!!

Neil,
I am with Colin on the Adaptive Cruise Control, I have it in my Karoq and recently drove my wife's car (which has the standard cruise control) I really did not expect to miss the ACC as much as I did. If I were to specify another car today, the two "absolutely must-haves" would be ACC and the heated front screen with the heated steering wheel coming in as the third choice, some way behind the first two.
I have not driven a Karoq with Adaptive Chassis Control but had a similar system on my V70R. After playing with it a few times when I first got the car I just left it on the standard setting for the remaining three years of my ownership. You may have different preferences of course.
