As you will have found out by now, the USB socket at the front of the Karoq is a little awkward to access and to still be able to slide shut the drawer.
For this you need a right angle USB cable and after buying the wrong one,it exited from the left and I wish I had read ALL the reviews as somebody else with a Karoq did the same! Some companies sell left, right, up or down exiting cable BUT at least one on Amazon was showing the same photo for left and right leaving me not knowing which was correct.
I have now found the solution. For those with a USB 'C' connection on their phone or device this short cable is just right
You can also buy it in grey and black and longer lengths if you wish
Some years ago I bought one of these as my car at the time had no USB sockets for sat nav or phones, I may see if it will fit the rear cup holder or fit in the boot socket

A very helpful tip. Thank you.

FDW,
Pity you did not ask sooner; I have the same cable which I bought about three days after the car. It is often simple questions like this that make forums so useful.
Have fun,
Ian.
