At least the footage should prevent any silly claims that you were speeding or somehow at fault.

Hope it all gets sorted quickly and without too much hassle.

Update .... had a text today to say they are awaiting parts to repair the Karoq :-) so looks like its not a write off.

I would have been VERY surprised if it was a write-off.
Don't know how far back the damage goes but from you pic I would have said ....new door, tyre and possibly new wing. wing liner. labour & paint.
That lot comes nowhere near the value of the car. Probably about £150 for the door. £100 wing. 70 wing liner. New tyre £140. Labour to strip out old door & rebuild new one plus all the painting £1300.

A bit more than that lol. Add to that list a new top strut, wishbone, stearing rack, front and rear wheel, front bumper. inner wheel arch, plus trim along the bottom of the car the front door is too creased to even attempt a dent removal.

Has to go on the jig to test wishbone mounting points are still where they should be, and to pull out the bottom of the door frame where the lower part of the wing sits, the wheel has moved back more than the depth of the tyre.

Well after ten and a half weeks its back on my drive, the repairer Harwoods have made a fantastic job, paint colour match perfect, body lines perfect, and drives like new, no pulling and stays straight if hands are taken off the wheel.
Wish i could say the same for Skoda parts supply  they have been the cause of the delay in getting it back, the parst list for the repair runs into 3 sheets of A4, the last 2 week hold up was for one small lower wing plastic trim  . Discussions are still on going with Skoda CC as I'm not happy with the parts situation, going to need a good goodwill gesture  .

Here is the before and after.

So glad you finally got it back. I agree. Make a long and loud noise to Skoda CC. Demand to speak to a CC MANAGER and don't let them off lightly. if necessary suggest BBC Watchdog and or the press may like to get involved.
