No i'm here but was beginning to think everyone else had died too

Great service from dealer recently popped in after our holiday when I noticed our Karoq was starting to feel like it was slightly moving when we got out, husband had to keep putting on parking brake manually. Dropped into dealer on a Saturday morning, they got the mechanic to hook up to the machine, no faults recorded, seemed as I had thought operator error... when husband was changing drive mode he had switched off autohold by mistake, we got a free coffee each and a chat with the sales man who was telling me the 1.5 problem was very intermittent, that one of his colleagues had a Karoq with this issue but none of the others had, he said those that they had put the software on hadn't returned to say it was still an issue. He also confirmed that the Karoq is not alone with this issue. Proving to be a very popular car... I can confirm as I spotted 4 on the school run the other day.

Hope you're well Colin glad to see you are still around

Not yet!

Current whinge is the under reporting of actual fuel levels in the tank leading to at least 10 ltrs remaining when well into the red zone. Decreases the car's perceived range quite a bit. I've got a 500+ mile drive in less than two weeks and I've got a horrible feeling the car is going to prompt me to fill up well before I actually need to and nowhere near a suitable supermarket filling station.

I'm also seriously considering changing up to the 2ltr version of the diesel - even my wife thinks the car is sluggish!

Thanks W-o-K.
I only had 5 days off last December whilst in hospital. Been here at least twice daily ever since.

It has been the worst 4 months of my life. The muscular pain excruciating.

New hip is fine but in the left leg, having had to do most of the work for at least 12 weeks, the muscles are B******D.
I only gave up using 2 sticks 2 weeks ago.
VERY S L O W recovery. But I had no choice.
I have to keep reminding myself that the repair was 'no option' and there are millions of people a lot worse off than I am!

Not sure if you are referring to me?
If so, may I say I am not '@' anybody. I don't understand the point of this form of address? Why not just Kodiaq. I am not being belligerent, I really don't understand why, when not using it in a social media sense, it is used??
I don't 'do' social media, apart from being registered on 'Farcebook' which I may go into once or twice a year.
Kodiaq, Colin or 'OY YOU' will suffice, but PLEASE NOT @ I don't know why, but it really gets up my nose. I'm just far too old I suppose  and abhor the current habit of the rape of the English language.
Gosh the air is thin up here on my high horse!!
Sorry, rant over..........back to your question.......
Scala is the forthcoming new Skoda to go head to head against the Golf. Lookey here.
