I have now done about 200 miles and that is mainly very short trips round Poole. Often only a couple of miles at a time with cold engine,
I did a 40 mile trip on Friday across country on A roads and back on Sunday same distance same roads. 44.1 over the weekend and overall average 36.7.
I reckon that's pretty good for a new, tight engine.

My 1.6 Diesel Qashqai (which Karoq is replacing) )was doing 36MPG (city mostly driving) and was quite satisfied about it.
I don't worry about the fuel consumption, those that do should buy a smaller car. I had a Chrysler voyager 3.3 petrol up until 2007, while doing my business accounts I found I had spent £5000 on petrol in a year, petrol was much cheaper then also.
Just to add in town I may get 25mpg but I may only do 2-3 miles, I find in general I get 350 miles to a tank, you can't believe the figures in the display.
