Hi All,

Ordered my 1.5 SEL DSG back at the end of April with an initial build date of week 30 - not a problem as I have a Q3 that is on PCP until April (although I am VT'ing it).

Week 30 came and good news now confirmed for week 34 build so will have by 38.
Week 35 arrives and salesdroid cannot confirm if car has been built - it's now in the WLTP process and more than likely just waiting for software updates.
Today comes along and I ask the sd for an update - good news he says! Car has been built and is waiting for WLTP update which will happen in week 41. Should be with you by end of October.

Of course built as an MY18 but will not be delivered until well into MY19 production runs and delivery times.

Word of advuce to anyone expecting cars in the next couple of weeks, please check with your sd and see if it is stuck in the queue for updates. If it hasn't shipped already it may be a wee while longer.

It better be worth the wait,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, chose this over a T-Roc

I am in the same situation with a 1.5 SEL DSG ordered early March given similar build dates that never materialised. Should have been built last week but no one at Skoda GB can find what it's present status is. I suspect its parked on an airfield with no VIN number because that can't be allocated until there is an appropriate WLTP certificate which as yet does not exist. How they deal with moving so many cars to us poor customers when the WLTP is created I dread to think! Keep smiling.

I ordered a 1.6tdi sel model in July got a build date of week 34 20th Aug which is the new my19 run and confirmed by skoda, update today is it's at the exit port and should be at dealers within 2 weeks. The diesels 1.6 all.passed wltp and are in full flow, seems it's the petrol models that have the issues. However their is now an issue with dash boards and I've been.informed some cars are heading back to the factory and it's also delaying build times because of the issue, skoda would not say in detail what the issue was as mine was not affected but did confirm delays across the board now because of the dashboard.

I'm from The Netherlands with a similar situation. I ordered my Karoq 1.5TSi DSG at the end of April, production week was set to 36, last week I heard it was delayed with 6 weeks. Now they told me the expected build week is 43....Reading al the messages about delivery delays I'm wondering if we will get our cars this year :(

Sounds like another chat with the SD is in order - will let you know how I get on.

Been informed by dealer today that vehicle is now at "Port of Exit Released", can someone enlighten me to what this means and when I should expect delivery?

Thanks

Pointedarrow, basically it means that it is waiting to be shipped to the European port to await a ship to the UK. In all it should be with your dealer within 4-6 weeks.
