Has anyone used Carfile to purchase a new car from? Any downfalls?

I've never used them, but they've been around for about 30 years, and always seem to get good reviews in the motoring press - plenty of stuff online about them if you Google them.

As with all reputable brokers, you don't pay any money to them, it goes straight to the dealer, and all cars supplied are brand new with you registered as the first owner.

I've bought four cars through Carfile including a Yeti and a CityGo (the others were Citroens). No issues whatsoever. Brilliant company. Once making the initial contact with Carfile you are put in touch with the main dealer and pay them, not Carfile, a token deposit. All contact is then directly with the dealer. When ready you collect the car from the dealer (which probably won't be local) and are treated EXACTLY as a customer who has bought directly from them. Looking forward to buying my next car through them.
