Hi,
I'm getting an airbag warning light on the dashboard after disconnecting and reconnecting the battery . Skoda have told me they will charge abotu £140 to reset it
From research this involves using a diagnostic tool into the port under the steering wheel to remove the error code, any one got any tips, experience on getting this done myself or elsewhere pls?
It's on a Skoda Karoq 2021

Get yourself an ODB2 unit on eBay. Costs under a tenner. Download the app for it on your phone. Connect it to the 'port under the steering wheel' known as the ODB2 port. Run a scan on the app (using eihe bluetooth or wifi) and choose reset.
Voila; no more error.
You can then send me £70 of the money you saved
