This works really well on the main navigation screen.
I just cannot get Apple CarPlay to replicate its map on the digital instrument panel behind the steering wheel.
As soon as a location is entered, the smaller screen appears black with 'Navigation on mobile device is active'.
Has anyone cracked this challenge?

I don't use phone apps, but I believe that you can only show the built-in satnav map in the digital instrument panel.

I dont think you can.

If I have Google Maps or TomTom on the Columbus main display through Apple CarPlay, only the inbuilt navigation shows on the digital dash and I cannot find a way to 'send' either of them in lieu of the inbuilt..
