Karoq glovebox dial and SD card reader

Anyone know what the small dial is for in the right top corner of the glovebox, on the Karoq technology please just picked it up, I also thought there was an SD card reader on them to

The dial is to cool the glovebox if required.

The SD card reader was deleted for model year 21 cars as the MIB3 infotainment system uses the USB-C ports to read media files.
VW Golf GT 1.9TDI from 11/98 to 3/06; Skoda Octavia L&K 2.0TDI from 3/06 to 12/11; VW Golf Plus SE 1.6TDI DSG from 12/11 to 2/15; VW Golf SV SE 1.4TSI DSG from 2/15 to 11/20; Skoda Karoq Sportline 2.0TSI 4x4 DSG from 11/20.

The small roller in the glove box opens/closes air flow to the glove box, dependent on heater settings. (Keep your tinnies cold!)
Cold in summer with the A/C set to to low or as hot as you want in the winter.
