Boot not locking

Hi everyone.

I’ve had my Sportline less than a week. Now having downloaded the connect app it tells me the boot isn’t locked. No matter what I do it doesn’t seem to lock.

Any help would be much appreciated

Check the boot itself. The Connect is very flaky. Mine was telling me my car was locked with all windows and doors closed, then changed its mind half an hour later.

There's also an update coming to the Android Connect app tomorrow, to include the MySkoda app. Whether that will improve things, who knows. (The iOS app is due around the 10th of December I think).

Thanks. It was definitely open and has been annoying me all day. I came home from school run and went back out opened the boot for the fiftieth time then it locked. App said it had but I went out with the key to be sure and it had. Very odd!!

Odd, as I said, the app was saying mine was open too, so I just went to check it and it was definitely locked closed.

I did have problems at the shops yesterday when the boot wouldn't close for me, but then I realised it was being very sensible as I'd left my key inside it in my bag! So it was just as well it refused to close for me

Very odd!!
Today it’s saying the driver door is unlocked. Maybe I’ll just delete the app!

Also when I set the digital cockpit up I have MPG on the left and acceleration on the right. It doesn’t seem to do anything. Was expecting a timer or something? Any ideas please?

Are you sure its acceleration? I think I only have the choices of Fuel Consumption, Altitude, Compass, Time & Distance to a destination, Driving Range, Road Signs, Route Guidance, Driving Assist options, Driving Time or Distance Covered.

Sure it said that. I’ll check later.
Also it seems to change every day.
On the left the MPG is now from start rather than from refill. Can’t work out how to change it on the dial

There is a setting where it chooses different layouts (and colours for the interior lights) depending which driving mode you're in.

I spent a morning sorting things out as I wanted them, and telling it to recognise my key, but it still flipped one day and reset some of my choices. It's seemed stable recently though so perhaps I've managed to synchronise all the keys

I agree, the MPG read-out seems to always show it from the start, but the driving data display in the main infotainment screen will show all three. (Not that I've got it to show the Eco performance as shown in the manual!)

Thanks I need to have a play. It’s annoying me I can’t get the MPG since refuelling in the cluster.

Also it’s definitely acceleration too in the option
