Getting pretty good mpg on my 2.0 TDi DSG 4x4 with (now) 4,100 on the clock. With these numbers very happy. “Peaks” were long hauls sitting at 60mpg on cruise control. Planet saved.

Well happy with the diesel choice so for me, ja danke. :D

Over 7,000 miles using your average consumption and mine of 40mpg overall with petrol at my local Tesco of 108.9 and derv at £113.9 per litre the difference is £168 cheaper for a DERV against which one must take into account the difference in purchase price, insurance and servicing. I have no clue about the prices for der vehicles so can pass no comment, apart from insurance groups. My Karoq is group 13 your Kodiaq 22/23 (according to Parkers)

Aircon on or off?

Gear shows as M7, using the flappy paddles all the time?

No just happened to be in M. (no flappy's on my Sportline. (Gear stick to left to go into M mode) I think they may be a cost option. Seems very odd NOT to have them on a Sportline?? It was dealer demo, so perhaps they kept options to a minimum?
