Thanks to a new friend of mine on both this and the Yeti forum, I have solved the ridiculous ride and curbing problems of my 19" 40 aspect rubber band tyres on my Sportline.
I now have a smart 'as new' set of 16" Alutec wheels with Goodyear Allseasons 60 aspect tyres. ride is far better and curb stones pale into insignificance.
If you hate the ride and rim damage on your 40 aspect rubber bands, take my tip and change for 16" 60 aspect. This rim and tyre size combination maintains the speedo accuracy as it equals the diameter of the OE 19" with 40 aspect.
If not technically minded, wheel specs to suit the Karoq are 5X112 PCD- 45 offset- 57.1 centre bore. Anything else WON'T FIT!

Glad you got it sorted, have you a picture of how the car looks with its new rims ?
Current Runaround..... Scout 2.0 TDI 4x4 Manual - Red of course (Any other colour is pointless) ;)

I have a close up of ONE wheel only. I'll take a full side view later and put it on here.
