Hi folks
Just taken delivery last weekend of a Karoq SEL 1.5 Petrol, which seems also be the MY21 release.
Just thought I'd share some observations and I have a question...

There are no SD card slots anymore, but there are now two USB-C ports in the covered console infront of the gear shift. Also no SIM card slot that I can find.

My question is regardiing Skoda Connect - is there a way to make the car 'offline' to the internet?

I'm just wary that my new car is only as secure as Skoda's data services, and if my account is compromised, the location, and the ability to unlock my car is just a click away. If i could hide the car from the Skoda connect, go 'off grid' as it were, I would sleep easier.

Regards
Jerry

The SIM card (and SD memory card for the Amundsen satnav) must be 'built-in somewhere I guess and not readily accessible.

If you don't want to use Skoda Connect, can't you just not sign up to an account? Or has your dealer done that for you?
