I have managed to find what I have always wanted.
RACE BLUE!
Just cruising Autotrader yesterday and lo & behold, at my dealer, Meadens of Brockenhurst, a 20 plate, 2 month old Sportline, £4000 UNDER list or 14% off list for a car that has only done 1900 miles. Substantially better offer for my current 'Edition', than the Highwaymen 'We Steal Any Car.com'.
My 3rd Karoq! ( I must quite like them  )
A few twiddly bits less than the Edition but then, fewer electronicals to go wrong. As some here may know, all the VERY FEW probs I have had with my, now 8 Skodas, have ALL been electrical.
Picking it up on Thursday.
Me :D chappy.
Sorry, something amiss with Imgur. I have tried 6 times to post ONE pic but it insists on putting up THREE.
I can only delete all three not just two for some reason.

Looks good - the same trim and colour as mine will be!

But I don't change my cars when the ashtrays get full ;) so I add lots of chosen extras in a factory-build and then keep them long enough for the cost to be lost in general depreciation. (My last 5 cars were a Golf Mk4 GT TDI which I owned from November 1998 to March 2006, then an Octavia L&K from March 2006 to December 2011. My Golf Plus only lasted from December 2011 to February 2015 as I fell in love with the new Golf SV, and that has lasted for another 5 1/2 years before concerns about the reliability of its dry-plate DSG got the better of me.)

Best Wishes

Chris

I simply get bored and as I said I have always wanted RAce blue. This one was at my dealer and a deal too good to pass by.

I picked up my Sportline (1958 miles) this afternoon. Noticeably quicker than the 19 reg Edition although 0-62 times are only parts of a second difference. the actual leap off the blocks and overtakability pick up is far better.
Steering lighter.
Bit cheap and cheerful compared to the Edition. To wit, no flappy paddles, horn tone not as good. rear parcel shelf is solid rather than roller, so it is either IN the car or OUT of the car. Doesn't worry me, as a dog owner they are never used.

I've never had the DSG paddles on either of my Golfs and never really missed them either... and prefer a solid parcel shelf to the roller blind kind.

Time to update your sig now then :)
