Depending on which satnav you have, there is a setting menu that lets you choose between Auto Day and Night settings.

I don't have my Karoq yet, but assuming your car has a 2019/11 manual, page 125 shows a menu box where you can select the display you want. At a guess you get this menu by touching the bottom right-hand icon showing some gearwheels? Or pressing the menu button on the side?

Thanks Chris,
Will try again, if you are getting a Karoq sure you will love it , we had Yeti for 3yrs , really liked it, but you have to move on, only had Karoq 2 wks but think it is much better than Yeti. Take care, stay safe and enjoy your Karoq.Phil

Hi Phil,
We hope so! Just going through the pains now of placing an order in June for a MY20 spec car, and now adding the area view option as it will be a MY21 car when produced. It seemed to be clashing with the Drivers Assist option, so have had to replace that with the Adaptive Lane Assist etc option instead.

Did they give you any sort of lead time for a factory build model?

Yes, ordered 2nd June when UK dealers just reopened (but factory and European dealers been open for a while. Sales Manager was expecting car to be built late August (so a MY21 model) with delivery in mid-September.

I've seen others who've ordered since me being quoted mid-October now. But as long as it gets to me before Boris' 10% import duty gets added (1/1/21) I'll be happy as my P/X valuation is locked in.
