Does anybody else have a problem with the 12v power supply and USB port in the ‘cockpit’? Ours worked for a few weeks and then both stopped and so we can’t charge phones, etc. Any ideas what the problem might be? Thanks.

Fuses? ( !2v is live constantly- USB (5V) is ignition controlled.)

Fuse 40 behind the glovebox on mine. A dodgy 12v USB fast charging plug blew my fuse twice so I binned it...
Fuse 40 covers both front and rear 12v sockets for my car (2021 Sportline 2.0 diesel)

Is this true? I use a dashcam, and I rely on the switched socket on my car to start and shut down the camera. This seems like a recipe for flat batteries, or is there some power saving system which shuts off the socket when ignition has been off for some time.

If you want to use a USB connected dashcam, you can add an optional USB-C socket up by the rear-view mirror and avoid having to hide wires in the trim. But from memory it's pretty expensive!
