Having had a Kodiaq, two Karoqs and three Yetis, I would concur with their comments.

Agreed. Between us, my wife & I have owned 1 Octavia, 3 Fabias, & 1 Karoq. We've experienced just one minor fault in all that time (a faulty temperature sensor).

We have a Karoq and an Octavia currently. Got the Karoq to replace a Yeti after they discontinued it. We had two Yetis and although were pretty ugly cars they were brilliant and very well built. The other two models we have in my view are not up to the Yeti standard. If they reintroduced Yeti we’d get one tomorrow.

I think you might mean 'if they reintroduced the Yeti built to the original standards. ....' Which they wouldn't be methinks.
I have had 3 Yetis and agree with you about the build quality. I must admit, I have yet to find anything to complain about either of my two Karoqs.
