I wondered if anyone knew if a 2019 model had removable headrests?
My local dealer “ didn’t think so”!
I can’t see any buttons externally other than the height adjustment and no other obvious locks or access.
I want to put my coat hanger back that I had in my recent Octavia.
Not the end of the world I appreciate, but can’t understand why they appear not to be removable.

I'm lead to believe that the Karoq may be the same as the ATECA. Costs nothing to have a grope!!
Please let us know if successful.

I saw a similar video relating to the Kodiaq.
I think a fumble around the back is in order. So to speak!

According to the dealership visited today Karoq head rests are non removable “ for safety reasons”.
Only wanted to attach my suit hanger as I have in the last 3 Octavias.
Not the end of the world, just slightly irritating.

Surely you should be able to move them up or down, adjustment for different heights of peoples heads. I saw a video where they could not do this.
The got a screwdriver and removed the plastic caps and underneath was the two side buttons that you press to enable you to either raise or lower, then push the covers back on. I suppose the covers look nicer than seeing the two side buttons?

I want to fold up the flex seats in my 2023 SEL. The manual say to hook the tethers onto the head rest rods. I've found the button on the side to move the padded part up and down. However, there is a fitting for mobile phones on these
which stop you from attaching the holding straps for the seats. Although you can remove the phone holders you can't remove the attachment between the head rest rods.

Thanks for your suggestions but seems there is no release at th top of the back of the front seats. The manual tells you how to remove the back seat headrests but no mention of being able to do the front. Only how to adjust them.

Yes I watched the video but no joy. Pushed all around the top of the back of the seat. Absolutely no give or release button..
