should I a be able to get a creak/squeak in roof lining or sunroof investigated under Skoda warrentee at my local dealer. car is 18 months old.

Worth asking them. Don't 'lie down' too easily. If they say 'no', say you will take it up wish Skoda U.K. and do so!
