I have the 1.5TSI with DSG. I have only put in one tank full so far; recorded miles divided by measured fuel in gave an average of 33.5mpg over mostly small roads. I would expect this to improve a little with a looser engine but that may be offset by a less restrained right foot ;)

I use www.fuelly.com to track my fuel consumption, there is a link in my signature.

Have fun,

I left it too late to edit my last post, however, i had meant to note that over 38,000 mils in my Yeti the trip computer was fairly consistently optimistic about my fuel consumption compared with measuring the fuel and dividing it into the recorded distance. The discrepancy was pretty much always between 6% and 10% and over the entire time I had the car it came out around 8.2% optimistic. I'm not sure if that is dodgy engineering or something to do with the marketing people and VAG's usual honesty...

Have fun,

ImageHi
I went for the 1.6 tdi dsg and so glad I did , average MPG is 56 miles to the gallon but can get more if I'm light footed ! Never is the car left wanting for power either . Am extremely pleased with it considering the size of the car . All round the car is better than I anticipated in every aspect ! 10/10 Skoda 😀

Jimbologo,

I hope a rear seat passenger took that picture over your shoulder... ;)

I have just completed a 230 mile trip today at an average speed of 44mph over mixed roads 45 miles of motorway and the rest A and B roads. The trip computer is showing an average fuel consumption of 46.2mpg. Rather better than I was expecting given the the same trip in my wife's 1.2 Fabia DSG only returned 41mpg.

My 1.6 diesel Yeti used to give about 55mpg on that run.

Have fun,

1st Brim to Brim gives 43mpg (similar to my 2.0L Yeti) so hoping as engine loosens and runs get longer should improve a bit

Only 200 miles in with my 1.5 petrol manual and seeing approx 46mpg, mostly on A road driving. Quite happy with that for now and hoping it might just improve a tad once a few more miles go on the clock.

I have the 2L 4x4 manual diesel. I have just started to pay more attention to the mpg. In normal mode, with a gentle foot I can get around 50- 55 mpg . Using my regular style of driving I'm getting around 47 mpg. However in eco mode that drops to 44 mpg which I can't explain.
