Hi all,
I need a bit of help please.
I have a 2023 Karoq and have blown the 12 volt power/cigarette lighter socket fuse, I think. I want to check the fuse which is situated behind the glove box but I can't release the glove box far enough to gain access. The handbook says to release the green lever to the right of the box but I don't have one of these, just 2 small buttons above, but these don't do anything when I push them. I phoned the Skoda dealer and was told to reach behind the box where I'll find a lever to pull, but the gap is too small to get even a finger behind. Can someone advise please.
Thanks,
Peter

It's not behind the glove box. I think it's behind it's own cover to the RIGHT of the steering wheel as in the pic above (LHD)

Thanks for your replies to my query. My car is a UK spec. right hand drive model so the information you gave Colin doesn't apply. And the photos you gave me a link to Ian show the glove box with a green lever and side stop pads. I presume these are for an earlier model as my car doesn't have them.

Peter,
Re-read my post!! The dash boards on Skodas are handed. As it was below the light switch on the LHD version.
The fuse hatch is below to the left of the light switch.

The 12v power outlet fuse (No 40, fwiw) is in the bank of fuses behind the glove box.

And for the OP, the release levers aren’t actually green in real life.

Rather sadly they’re just highlighted in green in the manual illustrations.

They’re actually plain old black plastic.
