I am totally confused as to what Infotainment system is actually fitted to the car, is there an easy way to find out this information.

Also I can not find any where in the setting to activate the floor pan lighting or the ambient.

You need to tell us what model you have before anyone can help you. The specs differ on various models..

It is a 2.0 diesel (non 4 x 4) sel model. 2020 on a 70 plate

The SEL came with the 8 inch Amundson satnav system as standard, or optionally with the 9.2 inch Columbus satnav instead.

The Amundsen looks like this:

If you have ambient lighting available to you, it is controlled by the Car / Settings / Lights menu screen.

I think it unlikely that either is fitted to an SEL. Many of the features which show in the manual areonly present on some, usually higher spec , cars.

Routemaster is correct in that the LED interior light option cost £350 for the SEL, and I presume this is the option that gives you the variable colours and footwell lights. You can easily tell if the original owner added it to the car as it also projects the word SKODA below the front doors when you open them at night.

This is what my 2020 Karoq has. I tracked it down to being the Amundsen by looking at the 4 different "button" variations in the user manual, down the left and right sides of the screen, and only the Amundson exactly matches what mine has.
