Hi I have been looking for some time on this and the sister Ateca forum. I live in Northern Ireland so we only have 3 dealerships in the whole country so decided to use CARWOW to get other prices. I've traveled to England before to collect cars so would have no problems with a road trip. I have to say that all was not what it seams with CARWOW and had one finance quote that gave me £3000 manufacturers deposit contribution instead of £1500 which was an amazing deal but sadly withdrawn. My best deal was in Lincoln but it turns out if I wanted to get there it would be a 2 day trip with an overnight stay due to flight times from here. I went to one of my local dealers with whom I was upfront with what I'd got and to my surprise they not only beat my best local deal by over £1000 but also every offer I'd received even before travel expenses with the exception of the Lincoln deal which when I added travel expenses it really wasn't a great saving plus it would cost me 2 days leave from work. In the end I ordered a 1.5 DSG SE L with a few options including heated windscreen and ACC in petrol blue. I must remember in the future not to take the wife with me when buying a car as as soon as she saw an Edition in the showroom she wanted a sunroof and leather seats. Thankfully the sunroof is no longer an option so I got away with an extra £250 for the leather. No idea when Ill get the car but my current PCP ends next January and there's a deal to be done there too as my mileage is less than the original contracted amount. I'm sure the 6 months or so waiting time will drag but this really does look like this is the way things are if you want a popular model these days.

I don't think you will get anything back on your PCP unless you are trading it in and buying another car from the dealer you bought it from. The contract is a bit one-sided in that you pay if you exceed the mileage and you get nothing back if you don't get near it, but that is what you signed when you bought the car.

This is true. However, sometimes the numbers work out so that can buy the car at the agreed price and sell it on for more than you paid. It is a case of running the numbers and seeing what comes up.

Good luck, it may work in your favour.
