As it was no extra cost I ordered the Beige interior as I think it looks rather smart, Did anyone else take a shine to it ?

I agree, the beige does look smart. However, with a very muddy basset hound and a very sticky 10 year old daughter I went with black in the hope that it will hide the muck longer. That is if I ever get the car, of course.

It’s nice that they give you the option for cream leather interior. So many of my cars have been black as I am too right to pay £1200 or more for cream leather. In the wife’s Karoq SE L it is only £250. A bargain for leather over the alcantara I think compared to other makes.

My Yeti had beige leather and I have two dogs, a mastiff cross and a cockerpoo (aka "The Mud Magnet"). The beige leather seemed to stay looking cleaner far longer than the black interior of my previous Volvo, probably because dried mud and slobber are closer in colour to the beige than to black. I can offer no advice with respect to ten-year-old daughters ...

Whichever colour leather, it will wipe clean easier than any fabric I've ever had in a car.

Have fun,

Ian.

PS The beige came with a dark grey roof lining, do cars with a black interior get the same inside roof colour?

I recommend Dr Leather wipes as great, back to matt, cleaning for leather seats.
I have to say that my XC90 with cream leather seats starting looking tatty very quickly. I don't think the Volvo leather lasts as well as VAG group leather.

I ordered beige interior, it looked good in car showroom....and have gone with magnetic brown exterior, just for a change. I've had black, white, silver, greys etch. Although brown is not a popular colour, it goes really well with beige. Ordered end Feb, got a phone call today saying it is in stock now so should get it couple weeks

I am getting the whole car treated inside and out with specialised kit by the Garage before delivery. We got a similar job done on a Mokka and it worked brilliantly.
