I have 2021 karoq sel 1.5 dsg Love the car but find the front seats too deep such that the front edge digs into the backs of my leg ( behind the knee). Although you can raise the seat up and down it doesn't alter the angle which is too high at the front. In my last car ( mercedes) you could flatten or raise the angle of the seat.
I am short in the leg about 28" inside leg .
Has anyone else found this to be an issue with what otherwise is an excellent car.
I will have to change the car or have the seat modified by professional car upholsterers.
Any ideas?
Ray

Even with the seat right down & forwards, you still have the problem??
Ask you Skoda dealer if they can put blocks under the rear sear mountings.
Or you can buy foam wedges.https://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_from ... s&_sacat=0

I have found a professional car upholsterers who can remove the upturn edge on the front of the seat and shape it to suit my my requirements keeping original seating material for £250.
They specialise in renovating classic cars etc.
I will post result after the work has been done should anyone else be interested as it is a lot less expensive than changing a car that is only 10 weeks old.

Did you read my reply?
If it's possible the dealer blocks option would not cost you £250. That sounds exorbitant to me, sounds like they don't want the job and are trying to put you off.

Yes I did read your reply and did call Richmonds Fareham the local Skoda dealers and they talked about booking the car in to "investigate" the problem and said how complicated it was to remove the seat which wasn't very helpful and didn't feel me with confidence.
Also I managed to get a big discount when I bought the car so £ 250 is steep is worth doing it if it works, they also have to remove the seat so it is about a day's work and they claim to have done this alteration on a several cars.
I have used them before when they repaired a split in my MX5 front seat and you could not see the join.

I can't comment on how difficult it may be to remove the seat. Sounds like typical dealer 'don't want this job' attitude.
Unfortunately I have a very jaded view of moro trade groups, Having worked for SHELL retail market all my life I have always found dealer groups, in the main, offer inferior service to that offered by family run concerns.
Good luck with your upholsterers.
