All modern cars, use fully synthetic oil and Trogletts price of £40 odd is way out.
My last Karoq service including oil change 18 months ago , the oil , Castrol Magnatec was charged at £67.
As an ex Shell Lubricants man, although I know things have advanced tremendously since I retired , the thought of leaving oil in for 2 years, fills me with horror! Especially for the short journey, stop start driving I do.
Because I change my cars every 12-18 months I really don't care, but if you are long term 'keepers' I would urge you to change your oil every year.
If you are capable you can DIY it. buy the oil on line but make sure you buy a genuine Skoda oil filter. If you have any engine problems and they discover a non genuine oil filter the chances are that Skoda may well argue/refuse a warranty claim.

Get the dealer to change the service interval to 12 month and not variable.
