Has anyone had a problem with the heated rear screen not clearing or taking up to an hour to do so, Skoda have checked it out twice and can find no problem?

You might be getting water in your boot lid , read the link on boot lid filling with water , just had mine sorted, seems like no water is getting now.

Condensation is more difficult to clear than ice.
Assuming you live in a currently frosty area, how long does it to clear ice on the outside?
At 2 degs below freezing (30f) this morning it took about 4 minutes.
Why are you getting heavy condensation in it??

We had frost yesterday and it must have taken 8 to 10 minutes to clear the frost, then a further 15 minutes to clear 75% of the misting, will check out the possibility of water getting into the boot but it appears to be dry in there.
Will have a serious look at it today
Many thanks

Good luck, Do let us know if you find the problem. If you don't, I suggest you leave it at the dealer overnight OUTSIDE and then let them see what the problem is. Prefeferably when a heavy frost is forecast.
I must admit I have never had any condensation in any of my Skodas unless there is a wet dog, towel, coat left inside. If none of these apply in your case I would think you do, unfortunately, have a problem.
