My Karoq 1.5 Tsi SEL Dsg is one year old and was delivered 4th August 2018. It has now done 10K miles. Since March it has developed an intermittent creaking or knocking noise from the front end. Turning the wheels when stationery does not create the noise nor does pushing down on the suspension struts. The supplying dealership have had the car twice to investigate, the second time under instruction from Skoda Customer Care department in Leeds. Initially, technicians thought that the problem was front top mounts which they then replaced as well as the bearings. Problem still persists and is getting louder and more frequent. Does anyone else have this problem or had experience of a similar issue? Does anyone have any suggestions that I could forward to the dealership? My wife and I are not convinced by the dealerships assurances that the car is perfectly safe.

Thanks for the suggestion, Colin. That was one of my first thoughts. I'm afraid it has defeated Winchester Skoda, despite them acknowledging that there is definitely a fault and trying sound sensors in various places to accurately locate it. They are suggesting that I wait until it is much worse so that they can tell where it is coming from. Definitely sounds like the front offside wheel area. Very irritating and perplexing!

Hi,
I have the same issue as you and same Karoq 1.5 Tsi. I don’t remember how many times I have visited my dealeship and still no success. Maybe one important fact I can mention we are closer to the source of sound based on exchange of right and left side (shock absorber units with spring). Now sound is coming from oposite side which is evidence that given shock absorber group of parts is likely contains something faulty.
They just replaced only rubber stop and upper absorber mount but sound still persists.
Currently I am waiting for oficial answer from Skoda Slovakia regarding next steps.
What is your current status, have they found source of creaking sound using senzors?
