Ridiculous nanny state technology, I blame the eu.
I bought my car six months old and it had been damaged, the nearside mirror doesn't have the proximity warning bits so that system doesn't work. I don't know if that is required for the emergency braking to work, but I don't really care as I wouldn't use it anyway. The point of driving is to actually drive the car and not rely on gimmicks that could cause an accident.
