2021 Skoda Karoq SportLine 2.0 TDI DSG 4X4 - I’ve noticed a massive change in my MPG. For a weeks I’d been getting 40+. Now only getting 24..
I do the same route and in eco mode all times.
Does anyone know what the issue may be?
Change in MPG- Possible eco mode error
I'd wonder about a sudden drop in external temperatures, but it's been pretty mild in the midlands recently. Is that true for you too? I know my petrol Karoq takes longer to warm up in the winter with a corresponding drop in fuel consumption - but not to the extent your diesel has.

VW Golf GT 1.9TDI from 11/98 to 3/06; Skoda Octavia L&K 2.0TDI from 3/06 to 12/11; VW Golf Plus SE 1.6TDI DSG from 12/11 to 2/15; VW Golf SV SE 1.4TSI DSG from 2/15 to 11/20; Skoda Karoq Sportline 2.0TSI 4x4 DSG from 11/20.
Winter diesel is less efficient because of the anti gelling additives and the engine will take longer to warm up in colder temperatures. Stronger winds at this time of year can also make a difference.

I have a 21MY Karoq 4x4 SEL 2.0 D and get very good fuel consumption. I did a round trip of 155 miles last week on motorways and country roads and got 47.2 mpg. in normal setting.
Eco setting is not always the most economical I have found.
What milage has the car got on the clock? Is it due a service? Does it start ok?
