Hi All. Getting the car on Friday, 1.5 SEL DSG. been on order since October so very happy now. The dealer in Poole has been great and kept me informed all the way.

I have spent days downloading all my music onto a new MP3 player. I gather it uses Bluetooth, any know issues?
Tks

I've listened to music from my phone via Bluetooth, with no problems.

I put my CDs onto an SD card, so that I can listen to my music in an uncompressed format though.

Got the car which is great, but my MP3 player won't connect, neither will it play through the USB. I can see the Skoda car on my device but it will no pair.

I know it works on the car as my partners Sony player connects and plays well through Bluetooth.

Anyone got any ideas. please
Tks

We have had similar problems with bluetooth connections. My husband's Samsung S6 connected fine, his music played great, however I connected my A5 and the music sounded like it was skipping, after lots of playing around my 16 year old got it to work. Then husband's phone wouldn't play music. We went back to basics and ended up deleting his phone from the Karoq, unpairing it on the phone and then starting again and it seemed to connect properly. If only I could tell you how I did it, because it took ages to get to a screen that showed deleting the connections. I even rang Skoda customer services who suggested a do a factory reset however that then deletes marked points on the Sat Nav which we had spent ages setting up!

Several of the things we noticed, is the car on bluetooth in visible mode? is your player on visible mode, for security reasons you have to sometimes click so that they can be found.

Do not connect through "business service mode" it was an option that came up we think it might be linked with the SIM slot in the glovebox where as you want it to connect directly with your player.

Hi Thanks for the reply. Gave up in the end and just put the music on a SD card and that works fine. Partners device works well just mine.
Enjoy the car.

Was it easy to put on sd card? It is something I am considering but wasn't sure how to do it.

Hi very simple. I used a free program music B and then synchronized the card with my music and job done n 1 hour around 2500 tracks.

Hi, I have Amazon music prime, will this play ok through Bluetooth, or does it need to be connected by cable.
