Re: Space Saver Wheel Option - Steel space-saving spare wheel - 125/70 R18
Hi Mark, Thanks for the comprehensive explanation, it is appreciated. That is what I hoped would be included. Will probably order the £150 18” Space Saver option then, as it comes as a complete kit. I actually wanted to get a full sized spare wheel, but it wasn’t an option when ordering it new. But...

Re: Space Saver Wheel Option - Steel space-saving spare wheel - 125/70 R18
I have the 1.5 petrol DSG SE-L with space saver spare wheel. We bought it new 6 months ago. It came with the skinny wheel and tyre set, jack, brace, plastic parts to hold it in place and support the boot floor in centre of the wheel, black polystyrene semi circular insert which fits round it in the ...

Re: Has anybody tried Vredestein Quatrac Pro all season tyres?
I bought these Vredestein Quatrac Pro all season tyres, and had them fitted last week on my wife's Karoq SE-L with 18" Braga wheels. The new tyres are exactly the same size as the original tyres (215/50/R18). The garage who fitted them said they hadn't seen this model of tyre before. But he sai...

Has anybody tried Vredestein Quatrac Pro all season tyres?
Has anybody tried Vredestein Quatrac Pro all season tyres? The 215/50/r18 tyres required for the Karoq SE-L 18” Braga wheels are not very standard, and there aren’t any Michelin CrossClimate tyres available in this size. The only all season tyres I could find in this size from a reputable tyre manuf...

Re: Advice please
If you're in Surrey, we got good service from Garland Motors in Aldershot. We got the initial quote through CarWow. We have the 1.5 petrol automatic in SE-L trim, and like it a lot. Beware with the Edition version, I think it comes as standard with 19" wheels, which might give you a rather hard...

Re: Winter runflat tyres for Karoq
Hi, Thanks for your advice. Yes, I'm familiar with runflats. I've been using them for the past 8 years on 3 different BMW cars. I've found the ride to be fine with 17" wheels on both a 520d estate and on my current 2-Series Gran Tourer. But I did indeed find the ride a bit too hard with some 18...

Winter runflat tyres for Karoq
Has anybody put runflat versions of winter tyres on their Karoq? I was looking to get some for my wife's Karoq. I know that runflats are more expensive, and generally give a harder ride, but I do like the security of knowing that if we get a puncture, we can drive to somewhere safe to change the whe...

Re: Which optional equipment?
Virtual cockpit is great.
Heated windscreen would come in handy in winter if you leave your car outside at night (no need to scrape the ice off in the morning).
Traffic sign recognition is a very cheap option.
Auto light assist isn't too pricey.
If you have kids, the Family Pack is only £100.

Permanently deactivate stop-start?
Is it possible to permanently deactivate the automatic stop-start system?
The owners’ manual explains how to deactivate it for the duration of a journey, but that it is then automatically reactivated the next time you turn the ignition on.

Re: Run flat tyres? Winter tyres? Michelin CrossClimate tyres?
My local Skoda dealer has confirmed that there is no possibility to downgrade from 18" wheels to 17" wheels. I told the sales guy that if he has any customers buying a Karoq SE who are interested in a free upgrade to 18" wheels, I'm all ears. Michelin UK have confirmed that they have ...
