Re: Kangaroo movements in first gear

I think it may just be a specific combination of throttle pressure and engine temperature. I haven't noticed it recently but it was on a very light throttle when I did.
BTW anyone else think that first gear is ridiculously short on the DSG?

I simply went to the time / date setting and unchecked the bst check box. Click went back an hour and has stayed there. Hope this helps

Re: Kangaroo movements in first gear

Mine is DSG and when staring from cold I get a slight hesitation, not as bad as Kangaroo-ing, Mpre like a gentle repeated hiccup!. It lasts a couple of 100 yards and then disappears. Probably not the same thing. Started noticing that myself more recently as well. Doesn't bother me at the moment for...

Re: Auto wipers

I don't know if my edition has auto wipers as its not obvious and I haven't checked the handbook. But as I usually look through the windscreen occasionally I usually know when it's raining. Hi. Would be surprised if it didn't as ours does. Works really well imo, wipers don't turn on automatically b...

did you buy the bike rack that I checked the measurements for? If so glad to hear that it works, been wondering ;)
Hi, yes we did :) . Works a treat and really appreciated your help with the measurements. Car and rack worked seamlessly on a 1,000 mile holiday to Scotland

Re: New one ordered

I love the fact that the towbar is retractable in such an easy fashion, and hidden out of sight when not in use, but can see Milfmogs point. Haven't towed a trailer but have had towbar mounted bike rack and 3 mountain bikes out back, which totalled close to the nose weight limit. Didn't notice any d...

Good luck and great idea taking evidence, these things rarely happen when you need them too!

Re: 1st warranty work due to heated windscreen??

Interesting one, I wonder though whether maybe the heated screen draws too much power for the start stop system to operate or if it is just on short runs. I don't have the heated screen, but start stop system doesn't always operate especially now it is colder and I end up with heated seats, mirrors ...
