Re: MPG on 1.5 petrol SEL

I can't believe that 40 MPG is not a good enough figure for you guys. Even 35 is great for a car that size, running with a petrol engine. My 1.6 Diesel Qashqai (which Karoq is replacing) )was doing 36MPG (city mostly driving) and was quite satisfied about it. I don't worry about the fuel consumptio...

Re: 1.5 SEL DEG Random emergency braking

Ridiculous nanny state technology, I blame the eu. I bought my car six months old and it had been damaged, the nearside mirror doesn't have the proximity warning bits so that system doesn't work. I don't know if that is required for the emergency braking to work, but I don't really care as I wouldn'...

Re: Another question ....navigation

I have driven it no hands on the motorway and yes it steers between the lines, but this traffic jam thing I hadn't heard about.

Re: To buy a 1.5 or 2.0 Diesel engine Karoq.

I have the 1.5tsi and love it. I decided petrol is the way to go for the future. Depends whether you are planning towing a caravan or boat, if not the petrol is great. Stick it in sport and it's quick. Mpg about 45 as said but not great around town, but then if I'm local in town I may only do a coup...

Re: Another question ....navigation

With all these features it seems it would be very easy to drive without due care and attention. We must all have at one time or another driven a route we know well and not remember passing certain parts of it, I know I have. I use the cruise control much of the time to keep within the speed limit. B...

Re: Another question ....navigation

Thanks Ian, didn't notice that in the handbook before, too much in there and not always clear.
Couldn't get the manual to load before. Just as confusing as the handbook and takes longer to scroll down than find the page in the handbook. Think I'll just drive the car.

Re: Another question ....navigation

From the Manual... Green.......calculate most economical route with shortest driving time and shortest distance driven. Red...........calculate fastest route to destimation even if a detour is necessary. Orange....calculate shortest route to destimation even if longer driving time is required. Than...
