Re: MY21 Changes announced

Hi All,

Just ordered my second Karoq on Saturday - due to be built Week 34 and advised today it is an MY21.

Does this date sound about right for MY21 build or is there a chance it’s a 20?

Would be great to have the tweaks that come with the 21 build.

Cheers

Re: Kangaroo movements in first gear. Solution. see page 2.

Just had mine go in for warranty work and they also applied an ECU upgrade.
First comments are no kangarooing and my fuel consumption jumped to over 40mpg from hovering around 35.
Is it a coincidence?
Will find out tomorrow on my normal work journey - watch this space.

Re: Any fix for Kangarooging

I agree completely, to write off all manual
complaints as driver error is laughable - am waiting to see what happens to mine.

Re: Have I made the right decision?

Everyday I get in my Karoq and think back to the days of my previous 2 diesel Audi Q3 Quattro’s. So, have I made the right decision? Yes, because if I’m honest all I miss is the diesel fuel consumption and the awesome Quattro. Do I miss the manual box - hell no! Do I miss that clunky sat nav - nope!...

Re: Any fix for Kangarooging

Car going in on Tuesday for mild kangarooing - service manager told me that all manual complaints are down to poor clutch & throttle control but DSG could be an issue. I don’t believe this for one moment as there are literally hundreds of complaints across all VAG brands for manual versions - it...

Loose Cable

Hi, has anyone else noticed loose wires in the boot where the latch is?

As I have an SE-L I believe these are the proximity sensors that run around the car for keyless entry.

Re: Juddery wiper

Had juddery and not very effective wipers so had Skoda replace within 2 weeks.

Wipers are still crap but juddering has gone.

Anyone else have useless wipers?

Door Rattles

Hi all, had my Karoq since end of September and since day 1 (literally driving home from dealership l) I have had rattles in both the front driver & passenger doors - have left it so it gets louder and more noticeable for dealer to take care of (do not want to hear the normal responses of can’t ...
