Re: Hardwiring dashcam

Had Nextbase Cam in my Yeti with heated screen - no issue with GPS signal at all. Also use Garmin GPS and it's signal reception is also absolutely fine. Only ever struggled with cars which have film coated screens - usually PSA cars and that was some years ago.

Re: PCP or Cash?

We did it and cancelled no problem but were told that to avoid issues you should cancel within the (legally mandated) 14 day 'cooling off' period. Only difficulty was the time on hold to talk to Skoda finance - about 10 mins but you can do it on their web site.

Re: Any experience with 1.0 TSI?

Have had ours for two weeks now having changed from a 2.0L diesel Yeti. Engine impressive for small unit although have not tried full load on motorway hills. Very impressed so far.

Re: door handle creaking?

Had 1.0l Se for a couple of weeks now - no issues with door handles. Averaging around 45mpg (computer) engine pulls well for such a small unit having changed from 2.0L diesel Yeti.

Re: Petrol Tsi engines

Just taken delivery of 1.0L SE not aware of it having one (wouldn't want one either as one of reasons changed from Diesel Yeti) will try to find out

Re: To GAP or not to GAP...

Just been quoted £360 by Skoda for new Karoq SE which we pick up on Saturday all being well. Agree with previous post - wouldn't want back if stolen

Re: Spacesaver spare wheel

From distant memory the bolts holding steel wheels on are a different shape (taper at shoulder) from the ones holding on the Alloys. Vauxhall supplied a set of bolts with the steel spare. On my Yeti I was told that is the reason for the speed / distance restriction as they use the same bolts for bot...

Re: Sd card

I have a 32GB card in my Yeti and it works just fine (2013 model) but you may have to create folders within that as (I think) the Yeti unit can only read up to a certain limit.
