Re: fix price sevicing
Bearing in mind you are paying up front rather than at the time, I don't see the point myself.

Re: Changes to the Highway Code
Just another ill thought out government edict, can see more accidents as a result of these new rules, goes along with decision s made on wind power, electric vehicles, banning gas boilers, all with benefits but ill thought out.. This spring I can see a lot of pedestrians and cyclists having near mi...

Re: Boot Floor Height
This site https://tiresize.com/comparison/ shows that the width of the tyre decreases from 8.5 inches to 4.9 inches. So if the full-size spare AND ITS PLASTIC TOOL HOLDERS/FLOOR SUPPORT are replaced by the slimmer tyre and a matching floor support, then the boot floor would be lowered by 3.6 inches....

Re: Adblue
Finally got rid of this stuff I hope. I put the floor back in the car and there's been no white crystals for nearly a week. My last effort was to use newspaper over the affected area and a warm iron. Good to know! My diesel days were pre-Adblue, so never had that problem. But I hope other diesel dr...

Re: Car Boot opens without reson
The only other cases I've heard about have been put down to the button on the key being pressed by mistake when the key was in their pocket. (The buttons have a longer range than the KESSY signal.)

Re: E10 Petrol
To clarify, I've been using the E5 Premium petrol (98/99 RON) until Friday. Some owners report that this gives better fuel consumption than the standard unleaded (whether E10 or not) to balance the extra cost, so I thought I'd test out the theory. The suggestion that E10 unleaded gives poorer fuel c...

Re: E10 Petrol
I've noticed a big difference in mpg between the two. Gone from 430miles a tank on E5 to 390 on E10. Drives better on E5 too will octane booster help on a tank of E10 or shall I just use super unleaded I'd suggest just sticking to E5 Premium/Super Unleaded if you feel it's cost-effective. I've been...

Re: Adblue
I've no experience with AdBlue, but according to this website spills sound rather nasty! https://www.hytekgb.com/blog/post/adblue-spills-and-what-to-do/ And this website talks about using a 'spill kit' to remove it: https://www.tanks-uk.com/are-you-prepared-for-an-adblue-spillage/ While this one sug...

Re: Fitting a spare wheel to a Skoda Karoq 4x4
Manufacturers don't fit spare wheels as standard because the extra weight creates higher CO2 figures, but at least Skoda still offer them as options in some models. There are other manufacturers who don't make any provision for spare wheels in their cars! (And so these get crossed off my shortlists ...
