Re: Contemplating a Karoq Edition
 Now lockdown is over I've bitten the bullet and ordered a Race Blue Karoq 2.0TSI 4x4 DSG! It's a factory order and likely to be a MY21 car and delivered in September. I've added a heated windscreen & steering wheel, virtual display, progressive steering/DCC (to ensure the bigger wheels are...

Re: Converting Karoq SE-L with space saver spare wheel to full-size spare wheel
To answer my own question, from elsewhere it looks like the boot floor always sits directly on the spare wheel, so the floor is lower on the narrow spare and gives more boot space above it, but no extra room below it!

Re: Converting Karoq SE-L with space saver spare wheel to full-size spare wheel
Mark, I'm in the 'Can't do without a spare wheel' brigade in this argument (and blame transverse engines for killing off starting handles even though they survived on Minis for a time!!!) But as it will only be used in an emergency, I'm inclined to opt for the skinny narrow one rather than the fat o...

Re: Contemplating a Karoq Edition
Update: after compering specs and looking at lots of pictures - and waiting for the dealers to be able to open again! - I'm now leaning towards the Sportline instead. Mainly because I prefer the body colour bumpers and rear seat. OK, so the seat doesn't slide forward, but it has a central armrest th...

Re: Corona Virus - car not going to be used
Thanks very much for the suggestions - I shall have to move it anway, as the passenger door is next to the wall, and I can't open the bonnet without having the passenger door open - I'll take that opportunity to overpressure the tyres to avoid flatspots. Really appreciate the advice Mel No problems...

Honest John (the Telegraph motoring columnist has published the following on his website https://www.honestjohn.co.uk/coronavirus/coronavirus-what-it-means-for-car-buyers-and-owners/# "I'm planning to self-isolate for three months, how do I store my car? "Car owners who are self-isolating ...

Hi Colin,
Yes the Race Blue is a big attraction for me, I'm really glad Skoda haven't held it back for the sporty trims only

Contemplating a Karoq Edition
Hi all, I had an Octavia L&K diesel for some years, then switched back to VW (first a Golf Plus and now a Golf SV (nee Sportsvan). As this is now 5 years old I'm looking at possible replacements, and a Karoq Edition 1.5TSI DSG is high on my shortlist. I was considering a Kodiaq but can't really ...
