Re: Auto stop start delay please!
Update; Following on from my post above, it seems Skoda can be clever when it wants to be. I've found that despite me having the 'auto hold' 'off' the original 'hill hold' control still works in the background, just as it does on our ageing Golf.....nice.

Re: Auto stop start delay please!
I'm sure that given enough time I could master the art of 'left foot braking' but for now it's a no, no, scary stuff....highlights just how quick the vehicle can stop!

Re: Auto stop start delay please!
I'm with you GeoffH, collected my new Karoq last week and the first roundabout I came too, exactly the same happened, coasted up, didn't come to a halt but, unbeknown to me the engine was stopped, spotted a gap and nothing for what seemed like ages and off like a rocket.....damn that EC and its pett...

Re: Front tyres feathering
I wouldn't know myself, it's a dark art the science of steering geometry adjustments, but, without a little 'toe-in' I'd suspect you'd lose the self centering effect?

Re: Front tyres feathering
The Karoq does seem to have a curious 'days gone by look' to the steering geometry.
When parked / driven on full lock the inside radius wheel has a very pronounced 'akimbo' appearance to it?
Easy to see how the outside edge would be scrubbed if doing many tight turns.....

Re: Orange warning triangle
So what 'response' will pacify the system into giving control back to the driver?

Re: Have I made the right decision?
I don't think you've made the wrong decision...………..I too am waiting on my Karoq delivery. Whilst I always liked the look of the Yeti and was quite determined to have one about 8 years ago it didn't quite live up to my expectations in the showroom, so much so in fact I never even bothered with a tes...

Re: Are You happy with new Karoq
I had a double take when I first saw that but, after a little thought guessed that it is missing a comma after "leather" and that S/saver is a space saver spare wheel. Of course, I may be wrong and if so I am sure Colin will put me right soon. Have fun, Ian. PS I thought I was wrong once,...

Re: Are You happy with new Karoq
Colin.....I might be slow on the uptake here but, your footnote, it contains the line 'Beige leather S/saver', what's the S/saver?

Re: Tyre pressure monitor
I seem to think it simply checks each wheel (using the ABS sensors) against the others and if one is different it shows up on the dash as being suspect.
The system doesn't know the pressures.
